Gary, along with his wife Toni, are the owners of “Prussia Valley Dulcimer Acoustic Music Shop , and reside in Waverly, Ohio. Gary has taught playing workshops at Fort New Salem Dulcimer Festival, Dulcimer Doin’s in Dayton, OH, Buckeye Dulcimer Festival in Ashley, OH, The Great River Road Dulcimer Festival in Grafton, IL, Yellowbanks Dulcimer Festival in Owensboro, KY, Chestnut Ridge Dulcimer Festival in Greensburg, PA, and several other local festivals. To call Butch & Christie old-time musicians would probably upset a lot of purists. They bring to the table a lively mix of diverse traditional influences from Irish to Swedish to folk and even Rock-n-Roll. (albeit in unusual and subtle ways.

Now based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Butch and Christie enjoy teaching and performing at various dulcimer & acoustic music festivals all over the US and abroad. In addition to their website above, Christie and Butch are also on  MYSPACE MUSIC.COM . Stop by both sites and check out their music and video! The National Trail Dulcimer Festival is pleased to have them join us.
